An Ibiza wedding villa is a private property rented by the week that hosts your ceremony, dinner and party, and sleeps your closest guests on site. Rental for a villa licensed to hold a wedding typically starts around €15,000 per week and rises past €100,000 for a large estate, with catering, staffing and licences quoted separately.
That is the short answer. The longer one matters more, because the rental price is the smallest part of what a villa wedding actually costs, and because many of the villas couples fall in love with online cannot legally host a wedding at all.

The event licence
A villa that sleeps twenty is not automatically a villa that can host a wedding. The property needs an event licence, and that licence is what allows suppliers, amplified music and catering on site. Ask for the reference in writing before any deposit changes hands.
Everything a venue already owns
A venue comes with a kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, staff and power. A villa comes with none of that for 100 people. Catering kitchens, generators, toilets, tables, glassware and a full service team all get hired in and invoiced separately.
The noise curfew
Ibiza polices sound on private property hard. Most villa licences require outdoor amplified music to stop between midnight and 1am. That single line reshapes your whole timeline: speeches, first dance and the peak of the party have to land earlier than couples plan for.
Deposits and reinstatement
A wedding booking usually carries a higher security deposit than a holiday let, plus a cleaning and reinstatement fee. It is normal, and it is almost never in the headline price.
Accommodation you are already paying for
The one real saving: your closest people sleep on site. Nobody drives, nobody leaves early, and the morning after happens by the pool instead of in six different hotels.
Villa or venue: how to actually decide
Choose a villa if you want privacy, if you want your people sleeping under the same roof, and if the wedding is really a three day event rather than one evening. Choose a licensed venue if your guest list passes 150, if you want a fixed price you can hold someone to, or if the idea of hiring in a kitchen and a generator makes you tired.
The saving argument rarely survives contact with a quote. Once you add catering infrastructure, staff, licences and rentals, a villa wedding usually lands at the same number as a venue, or above it. At a venue, getting ready happens in a bridal suite designed for it. At a villa it happens in the best bedroom, which is usually the one with the strongest light and the most clutter. Decide early which room is the getting ready room and keep it clear.

Villas are built for living, not for filming. I walk the property the day before to find where the light lands at six, seven and eight in the evening, because the best fifteen minutes of the day are often in a corner nobody has thought about.
